How to stand out in 2024: 3 ads to learn from.

This week's newsletter is all about trends you should look out for in 2024. Fresh off digesting TikTok's Trend Report for 2024 last week, we're eager to unpack the secret sauce of these 3 standout ads. Let's go!

Hurom America 

The first gem is from Hurom America. Right off the bat, this ad spiked your curiosity because who doesn't want to be healthy and live until 105?!

At first glance, it looks like a simple recipe video. But none of the fruit cutting in a real kitchen is really about a juicer; it's about embracing a healthy lifestyle that YOU can start at home. 

I didn't notice it the first time I watched it, but this 43-second video doubles as a product demo as well. It's a sly move 😎, considering how often we balk at buying something that just looks so hard to assemble (looking at you, HEMNES Dresser) or use.

By showing how effortless it is to make an immune booster, this ad lets performance do the talking.

Pepper

We love the storytelling of this Pepper ad and how it boldly battles criticism head-on💥. That's why this ad stood out from the rest! 

Many brands shy away from negative comments 🙈 or try to sweep complaints under the rug, but not Pepper. They used this ad creative to showcase why they are worth every penny, highlighting their top-notch quality, firm business ethics, and original designs.  

Look closely and you'll notice that the ad stitches together old media clips and photos from their achievement. Smart, because you don't need a blockbuster budget to make a point. For small brands with a tight budget, this is an easy and cost-effective way to test out your message.
